オランダからの手紙 E-mail to LintaClub from The Netherlands

２００１年の夏、テロに襲われる直前のニューヨークを、リンタは走りました。
そのとき、ブルックリン橋の上でオランダ人父子と知り合ったのですが、つい先頃、
オランダのアムステルダムから電子メールと写真が届きました。

日本のアニメが描かれたシャツを着ていた少年は、ベレンド君、
写真（下）を撮影してくれたのはゲラルドさん、
と分かりました。

いつか、リンタを自転車先進社会のオランダで走らせてみたいものです。


Dear Linta San,
Last August we met in New York, at Brooklyn Bridge, when you were
impressed by my son's shirt (Japan style, made in Indonesia, purchased
in Aruba). We made some nice pictures. I attach the ones with you and
Berend on the bike.
I will send another mail with pictures of Berend and the shirt attached.
Thank you for the happy memory of Brooklyn Bridge. Hope you have succes
in your bike-enterprise.
